Category Exception Description Action Severity
System fault.system.ec2.instance.type Unsupported EC2 instance type The Delphix Engine is currently running on unsupported AWS EC2 instance type {0}. Change the instance type to one of the supported types through the AWS console.
System fault.system.outofmemory.crash Memory exhaustion The Delphix Engine has experienced memory exhaustion which caused the management
service to be restarted. Jobs active at that time may have been canceled.
Contact Delphix Support for assistance.
System fault.system.platform.version Unsupported platform version detected Delphix Engine is running on an unsupported platform version.
System fault.system.storage Critical storage device error There has been an error with one or more storage devices. This error could lead to
data corruption and performance degradation issues. The error must be addressed as soon as possible.
Contact Delphix Support for assistance.
System fault.system.storage.device.initialize Storage device initialization in progress Performing one-time initialization of storage devices. All actions are
available, but I/O performance may be degraded temporarily. This fault will be cleared automatically when this
process completes.
System fault.system.usage.critical.threshold System free space is below Less than the critical threshold of {1} of free space is available on the system.
Delphix will stop pulling changes from linked sources. Additionally, new linking and provisioning jobs will not be allowed.
If free space drops below the minimum threshold of {0}, Delphix will shutdown existing virtual sources. If free space rises
above {2}, Delphix will automatically resume pulling changes from linked sources; and when more than {1} of free space is
available, new linking and provisioning jobs will be allowed.
Add more storage to the Delphix Engine or free up space by deleting existing objects.
System fault.system.usage.warning.threshold System free space is below Less than {2} of free space is available on the system. If free space drops below the
critical threshold of {1}, Delphix will stop pulling changes from linked sources, and prevent new linking and provisioning
jobs. Additionally, if free space drops below the minimum threshold of {0}, Delphix will shutdown existing virtual sources
to maintain data integrity.
